Visitor visa with a saved Working Holiday

Hi friends: I have a question, please a i need some help.

My context:

1.- Chilean citizen.
2.- Current status: Visitor visa ("passport on arrival visa") until mid december.
3.- During my first month i got my Working Holiday visa (i got the POE letter). In theory i have 1 year since July for to active the work permit.
4.- I haven't activated my work permit.
5.- After my arrival, I haven't exited from Canada.

My questions: Can i extend my visitor visa (online) and not lose my work permit (working holiday visa)? and then activate my working holiday visa?.

Hey yes, this is fine, as long as you go to the border and present your working holiday visa before the expiry date on the letter.
