Visitor visa while PR process is in progress

I am a permanant resident of Canada and living in Canada for the last 4 years with an Indian passport. I am getting married in April this year. My fiance is from India and has never travelled to Canada before. I will be travelling to India for about two weeks to get married. I want bring her with me to Canada at the end of the two weeks.

1. I will be filing an application for her PR sponsership from India as soon as I get the marriage cetificate and photos, but in the meantime can I also apply for a visitor visa so that she can join me immediately?


Please guide kindly.

She can apply but it is unlikely to be issued as she will be married to a PR, and ND will think that her intention is to remain permanently.
