Hello everyone,

I would be highly grateful if anyone with similar experience could help me out?!

I’m on study permit and I have given out invitation letters from college for my mother, sister and a minor brother but however, only my mother and sister has applied but now eventually my dad wants to apply and be there on my graduation but the invitation letters are issued and can’t be unchanged. In this case, how can my dad apply without letter or can he scan my mother’s letter and maybe that could explain ? Please suggest.

On another note, my other youngest sister has just received her study permit as well so could he apply as he’s accompanying her? What supporting documents could I show as proof as she still hasn’t received her study permit until she lands here.

Don't jump to your dad’s TRV application just yet.

Can't you request your college for an added invitation to your dad, saying that it’s needed for his TRV? Or even a new invitation to replace the current, including your dad as an attendee?

Unfortunately, no. They had asked for 3 people but only 2 applied n other one is minor. But, I have another sister who got her study permit so that way could he apply ? N should it be visiting family/friends or tourism considering that he’d be visiting along with my other sister.
