Hello everyone,

I want to get a visa for my parents and my brother (28 years old). I am a PR and have a few questions.

Which Visa is more convenient and straightforward to get? I see that the Visitor Visa asks you for proof of funds while the Super Visa only asks for medical insurance for once year.

The medical insurance for the super visa must be a Canadian insurance. Where do I get that insurance?

My brother is 28. Can he submit his application with my parents or does it have to be individually?

Thank you for your help!

Only your parents can apply for a super visa - your brother cannot. Your brother must apply for a regular visitor visa. Yes - your brother will have to submit his own application.

Both the regular visitor visa and the super visa will require the applicant to show proof of funds. Also, in both cases you should expect that a medical will be required. There is no medical insurance required with a regular visitor visa.

@scylla explained most of the things.
In addition:
Both Visitor Visa and Super Visa are pretty straight forward. However you can apply for Super Visa only for parents/grandparents, not for siblings.
For medical insurance, you can google around or ask the insurance agents to get quotation, compare then purchase the suitable one as per your parent's health requirement (with coverage of 100k CAD 1 year). It is required only for SUPER VISA, not for VISITOR VISA.

Good Luck
