My son received visitor visa in 2018 with validity until 2022. He applied visa along with my wife who applied study permit that time.

After some time they were returned back to my home country and my wife dropped her study as well.

Now I have received study permit recently, so can my son travel among with me now on his old visitor visa?

He currently needs special permission from Canada to travel and you will also need permission from the other parent to travel.

We can travel later once all restrictions will ease, but is my son's visitor visa still valid as my wife already dropped her study previously?

Yes the visa is still valid. You can ask for special permission if you are going to Canada and studying in person.

Great to hear that, I am only worrying about the eligibility of my son's visa validity as this time. Thank you so much.
