hey guys,

I am in a confusion about visitor visa with couple of questions. To describe in brief, I am on open work permit in Canada and I am working as a skilled worker. I would like my parents (currently living in India) to come and visit me in Canada about 2-3 months. I know that I can not sponsor them for super visa or parental visa because I am not permanent resident of Canada yet. anyone can guide me how can I apply for them to get visitor visa? Also, what things I am gonna need for it?? Can I use invitation letter for visa???

I appreciate your help in advance.

Process is outlined here:

Yes - you can provide an invitation letter. They will need to provide documents showing they have funds to support their visit as well. They will also want to include evidence of ties to their home country such as employment and property ownership.

Unless they have previously traveled to countries requiring visas like the US or UK, a 2-3 month trip is far too long. They should request 2-3 weeks instead.
