Hi friends. I have my brother living in Canada who is able to arrange a job for me. Employer agreed to give me positive LMIA. He advised me to first enter Canada on visitor visa after that he will change my status. I Am planning to land with my elder son. My wife and my younger son will join me later.
This sounds fishy. The employer first has to file for LMIA, then when granted he can send it to you attached to the job offer. Those two documents are needed so you can start the work permit process. Once you have it you can travel to Canada.
Why would he tell you to travel first to Canada? This is an incorrect use of the TRV, you would not be a genuine visitor and you would be abusing the TRV terms.
Once you have the work permit you can start the process for your family.
Best of lucks.
