Visitor visa to work permit

Hello! I'm in India (Indian citizen) a recently graduated student..I have got 10 years visitor visa for Canada. My question is How to get work permit on visitor visa? Moreover, how long is the duration of work permit? How do I get work permit..like am i suppose to have a job before applying for the same or have to search after getting work permit? Any responses regarding my questions will be appreciated Thank you!

First things first, you seem to be getting far ahead of yourself:
To get a Work Permit, you must find a Canadian employer who is willing to go through the LMIA process to confirm there are no Canadians available for the job. This is a tedious process that involves considerable paperwork and expenses.... and most employers are unwilling to go through this hassle.

If you get a positive LMIA, you would then need to apply for a work permit.

To cut a long plan short:
As a recent graduate with zero work experience, you are unlikely to find an employer or a job in Canada. You can certainly try though

It will be better if you visit canada once or twice for a short hop like a month or two before going for WP which will give you better idea of ground reality,

The LMIA and work permit process can take 4-6 months.
