My sister-in-law came on visitor visa to Canada. Is it possible to convert her visa into work permit with valid LMO? I got wind from some friends that CBA is not allowing visitors to convert their status. On border when you go to get work permit basically they are forfeiting their passports and asking them to bring return ticket in certain period otherwise deportation orders will be issued. Is it TRUE?
