Visitor Visa Timeline July 2022

I submitted my parents visitor visa application in July 2022. They visited Canada in 2015 and they also traveled to US in 2018. Per CIC's website, their application should have been processed under CAN+. However, it's been more than 2 months now and they're still waiting for instructions on how to submit biometrics.

Anyone else who applied in July 2022 still awaiting a decision/response?

Application submitted: July 18
Biometrics Request Letter Received: August 17
Biometrics payment done: August 20

No update since then.

It has been only 15 days since you made the payment. Unlikely that they will start processing your application till you submit biometrics.

Well, the request letter said they'll send instructions on how to submit biometrics once the payment is made. They haven't sent any communication after the payment was made.
