Hi Guys

I am trying to understand visitor visa rules to Canada on a regular 6 months visa.

1. On a 6 month visa, can parents stay the 6 months and then go back for a month or so and then come back for another 6 months?

2. After the 1st 6 months, if they extend their stay, will they be able to go back for a month or so, apply another visitor visa and then come back again?

Does CBSA cause any issues for this?

Not Initially but if CBSA sees the pattern then they will definitely revoke your parents visa as they will be technically living in Canada by doing that.
There is a case someone wrote that their parents visa has been revoke after doing the same thing as you mentioned.

If you really want your parents to stay longer then apply Super Visa NOT regular visitor visa.

Below is the link for that case.
