Hi guys ,
Could anyone suggest what should I do ? Actually I applied visitor Visa for my mother and brother online first time . And visa got rejected. Now second time I applied through travel agent and got rejected . I am expecting my baby in end of june. Before I didn't mention about my pregnancy just wrote the letter for visiting.
But now I am thinking to send my doctor report with an affidavit from lawyer and reapply the visa only for my mother .
So folks please suggest is this good to send my pregnancy report and seeking for family support during prenatal tu me . Or will it be negative impact for the visa application.
If you any one have this type of experience, please share your thoughts. It will be helpful for applying my mr her visa .

Thank you ,
Lucky

Hi,

What were the reasons for refusal for both applications?
How long did they intend to visit?
Do share the list of documents (separately) which your mom and brother had submitted?

Cheers

Thank you for replying.

They mentioned two reasons.
For my brother - Travel history and sufficient funds to visit. travelling for 10 days to canada
For my mother - Sufficient funds to stay - 3 months.

But here I am seeking for advice that Can I apply this time for my mother which will be sponsored by me and can i show my doctor report and ask in the invitation letter for family support.

Please suggest.

1. You cannot ignore the real reasons for refusal.... and believe that your mom will be granted a TRV only if you submit a doctor's report.... it does not work like this.

2. With two previous refusals + if you now include a doctor's report stating you are pregnant and want your mom for family support.... there's a strong likelihood of a third TRV refusal..... because to a visa officer, this means working illegally on a TRV even if it is unpaid.

Your best bet is to address the reasons for the previous refusals.... by proving your mom has adequate finances of her own/nothing borrowed + proving she has other strong ties to her home country.

But now I am thinking to send my doctor report with an affidavit from lawyer and reapply the visa only for my mother
Affidavits do not work..... so there's no point in including any affidavit. What will work is hard evidence of her strong ties.

You may also want to keep your mom's visit to only 2-3 weeks..... and not 3 months
