Visitor Visa rejected once, want to reapply

Hi All,

My husband is studying in Canada with study permit valid till Nov 2022. I applied visitor visa from India under reunification category for myself and my son in Jan 2022 but it got rejected. Reason for rejection was that the Officer not satisfied I will leave Canada at the end of my stay based. I am already working for a Canadian company and they are in process of applying work permit for me. As it is taking long time for them to finalize and get LMIA approval, I am planning to reapply visitor visa.

My questions are:

1. Should I reapply visitor visa or wait for work permit. As I have 18month old son wanted to travel as soon as possible so that we can stay together with my husband.
2. If reapply then what reason should I mention for visitor visa? Also if someone can share SOP sample.

You are being correctly denied a TRV because you aren’t trying to come and visit your husband. Working for a Canadian company just reinforces that you want to remain in Canada permanently. You should really be applying for an OWP.

If you have the approved LMIA and worked for the Canadian company for a year then wait for the work permit. Assume it is an ICT.
