Visitor Visa Refused

Hello everyone,

I applied for a visit visa recently and got refused. My partner is canadian and our son is now a canadian citizen so only I need to apply for a Visa to visit his family.

I got refused with these reasons:

1. travel history - I've visited multiple countries together with my son (info provided during application)
2. Employment prospects in country of residence - We've decided that I be a stay at home mom to take care of the baby
3. Personal assets and financial status - my miss on this one, I thought the support letters were good enough. I can supply this.

So, what should I do with 1 & 2?

we plan to visit canada for 55 days.

Have you stayed 55 days in a row in any of those countries? CIC wants to see evidence that 55 days is a normal visit trip for you.

2. Employment prospects in country of residence - We've decided that I be a stay at home mom to take care of the baby

How do you get money? CIC wants to see that you do not need to stay in Canada in the long term (thus needing a job).
