Hi Everyone
MY TRV refused two days ago. They stated three reasons which are 1. Travel History. 2. Purpose of the Visit 3. Finance

I am from India and have been living in NZ for more than 6 years now and visited Singapore, Sydney(Aus.), Thailand.
I have submitted all the visa stamps as well. So not sure how do we justify the TRavel history?

Shown around $12000 Funds..? Is it not enough?

Could not prove the Strong-tie to the Home country as I. have not property under my name but I have well paid and permanent job in NZ

What changes should I make while applying again?

I am considering the option of applying for a student visa as well. How much TRV rejection is gonna impact the Student visa application?

What is your status then in NZ given you say you have a perm job, are you a permenant resident.

The challenge with only having 12k in funds would be that just for one year of study you need to show 15-18000 cdn plus 10k CDN just to apply for a study permit.

Then after 6 years in NZ the purpose of applying might be challenged as to why you need to attend a course in Canada that might expect to be available in NZ especially if you might be a resident there so no need for a NZ study permit.

As for finance for a TRV guess the challenge might be why someone would be spending maybe a third or more of their funds when taking into account airfare/accommodation on a vacation. Did you provide a detailed itinerary?

Hi
Thank you for your reply. I am on work permit. Not a permanent resident.
how much fund would be enough for the TRV. I planned a two weeks visit last time.?
