Visitor Visa query for my wife

Hello,

My sister is a PR in Canada. I and my mom already have visitor visa until our passport expires.

My question is as below:-

Q1A) Can my wife apply for visitor visa as an independent applicant, since she doesn't have a visa ? Can my brother in law or my sister (sibling) send her an invitation letter to apply for visitor visa? What document can be uploaded online for "proof of relationship" in such case (since my wife is the siter is law of my sibling i.e. my elder sister) ?

OR

Q1B) Does she needs to apply for tourist / tourism visa? And whether Canada issuing that visa keeping the pandemic / current situation in mind?

Yes your wife can apply for a TRV on her own. Yes your sister and BIL can send her an invitation. Proof that you are siblings and she is married to you should be fine. Birth certificate and marriage certificate or other documents showing that you have the same parents and that you are married is what you should provide. Approval for TRV aren’t currently being impacted by the pandemic as long as you have been vaccinated? What vaccine?
