Hello, my partner and I are currently gathering information to apply online for her visitor Visa.

So far everything is o.k but we are not sure if we should declare ourselves as common-law partners or as single.

We have an intimate relationship for more than 2 years, I have visited her 4 times already in her country (Philippines) and lived with her and her family for 3 weeks each visit. We do not own anything together yet.

Do we qualify as common-law partners or should we just apply as single?

Do you have anything that proves you are common law?

For example, in Canada you could prove it by showing 1 year lease agreement at both's name. Do you have something that proves what you claim?
