VISITOR VISA or SUPER VISA FOR MY MOTHER

Hello Friends,

I am a permanent resident of Canada since 2019. I am living by myself and earning decent money to support my mother financially. I like to call my mother to Canada ASAP from India for the long term but applying through a super visa will take more than a year. Would appreciate it if someone can advise me on some strategies by which I can call my mother. I did some research and come up with the following:



1- Apply for a visitor visa which would take 72 days and call my mother in Canada. Once she is in Canada, I can apply for a Super visa from Canada through Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta. ( Not sure if this would take less time or not )



2- Applying for a Super visa now and wait for almost 1 year to come. ( It doesn't solve my purpose).



Would be grateful for your help and guidance.

1. How does a supervisa take a year but a visitor visa take 72 days? Has she done biometrics because offices are closed in India so she would have travel outside the country to complete them.
2. You cannot apply for a Supervisa from within Canada only from outside the country.

You can’t call your mom for the longterm. She can only visit you and not move to Canada. Has she done biometrics before? If not she will have to travel to Nepal or Dubai. Dles she have strong ties to India like a job, property in her name, family in her care, etc.? Does she have proof of savings to support her visit? Has she travelled internationally to countries like the UK, Australia, US, etc.?
