I just want to share the visitor visa application timeline of my parents and two sisters -
Online Application Submitted: September 4, 2016
Passport Request: September 14, 2016
Passport Submitted to VAC Manila: September 22, 2016
Passport With Visa Stamped Received: September 27, 2016
My parents and two sisters got a multiple entry visa with an expiry date a day before their passport expiry date even though we just stated that their plan of visit is for three weeks only... Kudos to VAC - Manila for an expedite processing of their visitor visa applications. Four of them approved in 10days! =)
and for those who will apply soon...
here are the scanned documents they submitted online...
- Current Passport
- Old Passport with visa stamps, entry and exits
- Letter of Invitation (which I just composed without notarizing it)
- Round Trip Ticket
- Trip Itinerary
- Employment Certificate
- Bank Statements
- Land Titles
- Car Registration
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate
And for us since my husband and I were both on our Work Permit with In-Process PR Application... we submitted along with the letter of invitation the following documents to support their online application...
- Passport
- Work Permit
- Visitor Record of my daughter
- Employment Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate
Based on our experience... I think as long as you have complete requirements and supporting documents... they will approve your application! Best of luck to all! Stay positive and keep the faith... God is so GOOD! =)
