Visitor visa on medical grounds

Hi Buddies

I am full time graduate student in Canada, from India. I have some medical problems related to mental health and my college doctor provided me a letter that I need someone to take care of me. They want my husband to visit me here.
What do you think, can he get through visitor visa process?

Please I need him here. Is there any hope?

Your husband can apply anytime regardless of your state as of now.

Provided he can support his own application for the Visitor visa, i do not see why he could get a refusal.

They said that the visa officer is not convinced that he will return back to India after the period of stay.

He must Prove his intention to return, Bank statements, job letter from employer, RETURN TICKET!!! , property deeds, etc

It is quite common for this to be given as a reason.
You need to provide much more proof of his intent to leave Canada, without it, there is little point in reapplying.

Was this stated when you applied for the TRV last time?

They said that the visa officer is not convinced that he will return back to India after the period of stay.

From what I read here the application has been refused once.
If you cannot provide more proof that he will leave Canada, then I doubt it will make much difference.

No, I had no health issues at that time. Now he is applying for visitor visa becoz of my health problm. As doctor has recommended it.
four months ago he applied open work permit.
