My father applied for visitor visa but rejected. He had attached bank statements amounting CAD 36,000/-. However CAD 13000/- was recently transferred.... Seondly visa office person asked him not to submit the details of his fixed assets including house, vehicle and plot details..... He is currently 69 years old and is working with an organisation in a permanent job.... letter from his office was also attached.....
Visa officer rejected his application citing following reasons
1. Travel history
2. Current employment situation
3. Personal assets and financial situation

My hubby got rejected initially, as there were few things we didn't do wisely, but we are applying again and he requires biotmetric. We are applying again after 3 weeks, does this mean he needs to pay/do biometrics again?

Thanks

1. If he doesn't have any travel history, it'll be difficult to get trv to Canada.
2. Provide NOC/leave letter, pay slips, employment letter from his employer.
3. Do a financial evaluation by CA firm. Add explanation why the money was transferred. Provide Income tax certificate.
4. If you are PR/Citizen of Canada, show proof. Your bank balance will also help. Show birth certificate for proof of relationship. Write a strong invitation letter why you want him to visit you. You may plan for some trips. Write itinerary for his stay in Canada.

Hope it helps!

Did your dad apply at a Pakistan VFS?

Yes he applied from Pakistan....
Thanks for the help.
However I am worried why are they not accepting details of his assets..... they said as per latest order, they don't require asset detail just bank statements of last three months

The Abu Dhabi Visa Office instructions clearly mentions submitting documents for property ownership, assets, business registration, etc..

BTW we have come across other similar cases from Pakistan VFS recently i.e. not accepting additional documents..... which also resulted in a TRV refusal.

I recommend you write to the Abu Dhabi VO to clarify if Pakistan VFS has been instructed to not accept these documents
