Hello

I applied for my wifes visitor visa on January 27th. It says Open. My wife took her leave from office 1st March to 31st March. There are hardly 15 more business days remaining in the month of February. Can her visa get rejected on the ground that there is not enough time left as March 1st is approaching?

No. This is not a ground for rejection.

CIC always advises to plan and apply for visas well before the intended travel dates..... keeping in mind typical processing times

Think positively.... there are still another 15 days :)

Thank you so much for the reply. First time when i applied in November, they let me know with in 1 week. I was under the assumption that it will be the same. Is there a way to change the intended travel dates?

You cannot change the travel dates in your application.... the only option is to wait it out

However, there are another 20-odd days to March 1. So your wife may get the TRV well before that :)
