Not sure what you mean by sponsorship. Your friend needs to show funds, travel history, ties to home country and reasons to travel. Funds should be in line with length of visit. You can provide a letter of invitation and say that friend will stay with you. IRCC doesn’t need to consider your funds but you can include your work permit and bank account.
