Hi Group,

I applied for visitor visa for my parents 75+ and it went back and forth with CIC Delhi asking so many questions and finally they did medicals and every thing was ok there! They sent letter inquiring about the medical insurance for pre-existing condition and I have replied it is stable for last 6 months and I will take insurance once the vias is issued. Today again my parents received email which states ......."As you both have pre-existing medical conditions that require regular follow-up,please provide evidence of medical insurance that covers pre-existing conditions while you are in Canada".

Does any one have experince about this? Is there a standard letter or format that needs to be filled and sent to them. I have also asked my insurance broker to send a letter directly CIC-delhi with the reference. Any information will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think CIC wants you to purchase the insurance for your parents, and then forward the insurance certificate to CIC as proof of coverage.
