Hi, I have a friend in India who wants to visit me in Canada this summer. He is 30 something, un-married and owns a gym. He has been running this business for over 4 years in India.
Considering that he is not married and is young, what are the chances of his visa being approved? I have heard that visa officials are weary of candidates - unmarried, young and male ! Also, he has never travelled outside India before, so cannot show any past travel history such as US or Europe.
In my friend's case, there is no reason for him to stay back as he has strong ties back in India (a successful running gym). He will be able to show past tax filings of the business, and has a decent bank balance.
