Hi Guys,
Need some advice from you. First of all, I'm from Hong Kong and I'm not a Canadian Citizen nor PR. My Thai wife and I live in Bangkok now. She applied her visitor visa online (not via VFS) one month ago as we plan to go to Vancouver on May 24 for a family vacation (a family of 3; she is the only one who needs a visa for Canada). The processing time is supposed to be 14 days. However, we still haven't heard back from them for over one month. I raised CSE and also email their embassy in Bangkok to give more information about who she will meet (my Canadian friend) and purpose of visit. I'm, at the same time, applying PR thru Express Entry, and my wife is the accompanying spouse. I'm quite frustrated because of this as I'm afraid her visa application could affect my PR application.
Is there a number that I can call to ask about it? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks.
