visitor visa for spouse

hey guys i would like to put an application for the temporary visitor visa for my spouse. I am a Permanent Resident of Canada I already put her application for immigration and got the file number as well. my question is Is it ok to put the file number and letting them know about my spousal immigration file in visitor visa application and is it ok to put the visitor visa application or not

You can apply for visitors visa and you have to tell about the permanent resident application. Omit it and you will have both refused.
