visitor visa for spouse after applying for spousal PR

Hello,

I applied for spousal PR for my wife who is currently out of canada. This was an outland application and its been around three months. I received a UCI number for me but not for my wife yet. ( Both sponsor and primary applicant will get UCI)

I now want to apply for TRV for my wife but my immigration agent says that it might get denied as they are no processing TRV's for spouses who already have their spousal PR application in process.

If thats not true, I will go ahead and apply for TRV for my wife with some screenshots I have after applying for her spousal PR

People like your consultant say like this while some other people say that chances of getting Visitor Visa are higher when applied under dual intent and family reunification after applying spousal PR.

Regardless if you want to apply visitor visa just go ahead and apply for it at any point. I know that feeling. You can attach Spousal PR fee receipt and your AOR and also just mention your UCI.
