Me and my sister are PR in canada. We want to apply for visitor visa for parents and elder sister. Good reason: I will be graduating from college next year.

From India, Both parents are retired from work and one sister (28yo) work as teacher ( as an independent contractor/temporary job). Parents has ties like bank accounts, car, home etc. to show but for sister, its just her bank account and job ( temporary job).

Visa consultant told that visitor visa rejection chances for elder sister are high as there are chances she will not return from Canada, given the ties and her temp job.

Does any one else in same situation? Do you have any insight or thoughts to share?

Thanks in advance.

She applies separately from your parents. For ties to home country, she needs to show her contracts plus an employment letter saying she has approved leave. Having a temp job doesn’t strengthen her application. Include any properties, investments under her name. She shows her own funds to support her visit including airfare. Include any travel history. Don’t ask for a long visit. Her chances of refusal are higher than your parents.

Think you need to be prepared that there’s a good chance that your sister may be denied but your parents application may be accepted.
