visitor visa for parents

Hi everyone,

I hold a PR in canada and it is almost one year that I have been here. I wish to apply for visitor visa for my parent.
Could anyone please let me know what is the basic criteria that i need to fulfil in order to apply for their visas?
Eg, monthly income,etc.? Also what is the process involved?
