Visitor visa for parents when you are on student visa

Please let me know whats the procedure to call parents on visit visa when i am on student visa.

How to show home ties my parents are retired.

Does booking return ticket is mandatory?

visitor is almost confirmed on convocation. Before that you need to show bank balance of 8 to 10 lacs and everything esle. good if you apply on convocation

Your parents must show that they have the funds to pay for their visit + airfare

How to show home ties my parents are retired.

Do your parents own property or land? Or have a rent agreement in their name?
Do they get pension?
Do you have any sibling or grandparents who live with your parents?
Do your parents have financial assets like FDs, RDs, shares, LIC, PPF, etc?
Have your parents traveled abroad earlier to countries like the US, UK, Schengen, etc?

Does booking return ticket is mandatory?

No. A provisional flight itinerary will suffice

You may want to consider applying under CAN+

Can you please explain what's CAN+?

CAN+ could mean faster processing for Indians (among some other nationalities).... who have visited Canada/US in the last 10 years or hold a valid US visa.

The TRV application form is the same. You must inform the VAC/VFS staff that you are submitting the application under CAN+
