visitor visa for parent of new immigrant

Hi experts,

I am a future immigrant (not landed yet) and I want to apply for visit visa for my mother to help my pregnant wife.
I have my uncle (mothers brother) who is a citizen of canada.

1. Do i need to prepare an invitation letter from my uncle ? or me ?
2. What purpose to mention for visit?

Hi,

It will be better if you get the invitation letter form your Uncle. Stating that he will be sponsoring all the expense.

thanks krajan. can i show my funds as proof of finance or my fathers ? how much amount is required to show in bank ?
