Hi Ali,

Do go through link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/getting-started.asp ....particularly for Pakistan applicants.

Yes, your mom must show a definite purpose for her visit. An unofficial guide: She must be able to show about CAD 1000 per week of visit + airfare + do buy medical insurance for the duration of her visit (although it is not necessary for a TRV).

Please go through this forum and then post specific questions to your mom's situation so we can advise

Cheers

I have one question regarding " Marriage Certificate" of parents. Parents who got married in the 60s and whose marriage certificate may be lost, how can they submit "Marriage Certificate". Is there any other format? or some kind of Notary work involved? Please advise

If for example, your parents' passports state each other's names as spouse then you can submit that.

Or, your birth certificate which has your parents' names will also suffice
