Visitor visa for non working mother from New Delhi India

I want to help my mother applying for and getting a visitor visa for Canada from New Delhi, India. I am a permanent resident of Canada since June 2015 and working since August 2015 and earning CAD$ 45-50 Ks per year. I have currently changed a job (September 6th 2016), I am a software developer drawing CAD $70,000 per year. I want my mother to visit me as we haven’t seen each other from a year and a half and the other reason is sightseeing and to meet her other relatives living here (Calgary).

My details:
Bank balance $10K
Pay stubs + Employment letter
Last years’ CRA, T4
1 and a half years bank/credit card statements

My mother’s details:
House wife
Lives on rent there with my father – rent agreement available (No owned property except a car)
CAD $2000 - 3000 in bank
My father does a fabric trading small scale business – has CAD $6000 - 7000 in bank (No owned property)
2 years’ tax documents for the same business

No history of travel for both of parents before to any country.

Financial supporter(s):
Me and my friend (Canadian citizen) live together here, my letter of financial (Living, food, travel) support and documents + my friend’s letter and documents (CRA and bank statements and employment letter) of financial support for the same. He has CAD$30,000 in bank.
Purpose of visit: Family visit, sightseeing, proof of return tickets.
Duration: about 2-3 months

Will she have a good chance of getting a visit visa if I show all the documents for details stated above?

If she has no travel history then I would apply for a 2-3 week trip (not 2-3 months).

None of us can tell you what her chances are. However her chances are better if she applies for a 2-3 week trip vs. 2-3 months.

Thanks scylla. What about the documents I have mentioned above? Are they just enough or the financial status of my parents or my financial status? Any concerns regarding this?
