Visitor Visa for my Spouse under family sponsorship

Hi All,

I am a canadian permanent resident and my wife is in the process of applying for her PR at Buffalo. But due to some urgent situation, she needs to visit me immediately. Will it be possible for her to get a visitor visa?

We tried to apply for a visitors visa ..but did not get it ... i am sure if you show some reason they might be able to give your wife a visitors visa... its realy highly unlikly though...
