Hello guys,
My name is Vaibhav and I am an international student. I am graduating in June 2022. My parents are applying for a visitor visa for my convocation ceremony. P.S my father is the primary applicant. I have a few questions as below:

  1. My father started an application for a visitor visa via the IRCC visitor visa portal (not the GCkey account) for both of them. I just want to know that my father is applying on behalf of my mother. Is he required to fill out the IMM 5476 (representative form)? The application is a group visa type.
  2. My mother is a homemaker. Is it fine if the financial documents of my father are attached with my mother's application?
  3. In the end, I saw that the visa application fee is for two individuals but for Biometrics it shows quantity/ individual as 1? Though the amount is for two individuals (i.e. 170 CAD)
  4. Lastly, I being an international student have attached my passport, driver's license, transcript, invitation letter, document from the university, Proof of funds (NOA, T4), and covid vaccination status. Is that adequate?
Thanks in advance.

They need to apply now because average processing is about 107 days not including biometrics.

1. Yes, they can apply in one application. He is not the representative if he is the person completing the forms.
2. Yes.
3. Biometrics is per person if that is what you are asking.
4. Your proof of funds and vaccination record are not really considered. They are the ones who have to show that the can afford a visit. They need to show strong home ties, travel history etc. They need to show proof of vaccination.

Thanks a lot. Are any other forms required as such?
