visitor visa for my mother

Hi there
I moved to canada as a permanent resident with my husband and 2 years old daughter on 18 april,2019.Now,I want to apply for my mothers visitor visa. I wanted to know about what documents are required and how many funds are to be shownand how old the funds should be, in order to get the visa approved. Also, what reason I should state for calling her as my friend told me not to mention about the care of my daughter....

Your mother will have to clarify for a TRV based on her own ties to her home country like job, property, etc. She needs to show that she has the savings to pay for her visit to Canada. The funds must realistically come from her own savings not just gifted by you. Travel history will also factor in. Your mother is not allowed to care for your child it considered work. There will be concerns that you have not established your life I Canada yet. Your mom there should ask for a short visit since especially if she has never travelled. I would be looking at back-up childcare options.
