You've applied pretty recently. You really shouldn't be getting worried as your mom's application hasn't crossed the stated estimated processing time on the IRCC website.

You will not get any updates as she has applied by paper. If you want more updates you could try linking her paper application to her online MyCIC account

After you link the paper app to the online account, it will considered as an online one. So all updates/notifications from IRCC will be shown only in the MyCIC account. You won't receive any emails from VFS/VAC

That means my processing time will now by considered as online one which takes so long..

No, your mom's application is not an online one.

Her application is physically being processed by the visa office which handles applications for the state/region where your mom has applied

Hi Bryanna,

I am from India ( Delhi ) on 8th of June I had applied for a tourist visa for my infant who is currently 10 months old. We had applied online. however there is no change in status on my CIC account. I received two email confirmations on the same day when I applied. There has been no update or change of status ever since then. I uploaded following documents :
1. IMM5257E
2. IMM5707E
3. IMM5257B
4. Letter of Explanation
4. Digital photo
5. Copy of Passport of my Child
6. Birth Certificate of my Child
7. copies of the passport and travel history of myself and my spose
8. financial support document
9. Paid the applicable fee

We did not fill IMM5476 (Representative Form) . Is this form required in my case? we have applied visa application only for our infant as me and my spouse both hold valid Visa.
If IMM5476 is required where can I upload it now?

Your valuable suggestions needed.

Many Thanks

Hi Tajinder Ji,

Greetings for the day!!!

I understand the processing time is 25 days. As I applied on 08th June (mentioned in the query as well) more than 25 days have already passed that's the reason I've put my query here.
Also my concern is " am I required to submit IMM5476 (Representative Form) ? As my case status is under processing so I thought if need I could even submit it now.

Apologies if asked anything inappropriate.

Thank you for valuable feedback.

Hi,

As per the application package for India applicants, you should have submitted IMM5645 instead of IMM5707E (Family Information form). You can email the NDVO and request them to let you know if you can submit IMM5645 or if IMM5707E is good to process.

No, you do not have to fill/submit IMM5476 as your child is a minor and his/her application has been signed by the parent (you). So, don't worry about this

Which visas do you and your spouse have?

Cheers
