Hi
I am an international student from india doing my 2 yr program. At first while applying study permit for me we filed work permit application for my husband too as per suggestions of a worthless agent. As my study permit got rejected obviously my husband's visa got rejected.

In the second attempt I got my study permit and landed here on August 2014,as per agents we applied for visitor visa for my husband twice. Both got rejected.

We showed enough financial funds for my husband and me , return proof (like leave letter from employer, return tickets, property etc). But we get the usual rejection reason.

I am very much worried about continuing my course. Friends pls suggest me whether we get visa if applied on work permit or will be rejected too..

Main thing is that my husband's sister is in PR in canada

So will the same be continued in future ?

It's entirely possible the work permit will be refused as well. However it's also possible it will be approved. It's really impossible for any of us to say.

When you come as an international student to Canada, there is never a guarantee that your spouse will be able to come with you. It's entirely possible you will have to complete your studies without your husband here to support you.

But by all means try applying for the open work permit. It may very well be approved.
