Hi,
I'm a Canadian PR holder and I would like to apply for visitor visa for my fiance who is currently working in India. My marriage is scheduled on Apr 10th this year. The plan is to apply for visitor visa before marriage and bring her here after marriage so that i can apply for Inland PR Sponsorship application.
The following is the document checklist that I had compiled after reading through many posts in this forum. We will be sending the application to Canadian High Commission in India.
1. Invite letter from her Cousin brother who lives in St. John's island (Newfoundland). His 6 months pay slips and bank statements under the respective bank's letterhead. Her brother would be providing the invite letter stating that she would be staying here for 2-3 weeks and show her all the places in Canada.
(question : my fiance and her cousin brother have their last names same. Is it enough or should we show some other proof's that they are indeed related. )
2. Letter from my fiance's company stating that she has been working in the company for 'x' number of years getting paid 'x' rupees and also providing details about her role in the company as well.
3. 3-6 months of my fiance's pay slips (question : should we submit the photocopy of the pay slips with an advocate's attestation ? )
4. 6 months fiance's bank statement.(question : my fiance's family are saving money in Fixed deposit. Is it possible to transfer some amount of money like Rs. 5,00,000 (~CAD 10,000 $) to her savings account and show that as proof.)
5. My fiance is also paying her mom's shop rent (~ Rs: 10k ). (question : is it enough if i show them the shop's rental agreement and also show them that the rental amount is getting deducted from my fiance's bank account. We can also show the payment reciept as well.)
I would also like to know, if any thing else needs to be produced.
And if any one could let me know the chances of my fiance getting a visitor visa with further details below:
1. My fiance hasn't travelled to any place that requires visa. And to make matters worse she just got her passport in Dec 2018.
2. My fiance doesn't have any property, investment on her name. They have a property on her mom's name but i dont think that won't be of any use for her application. Pls correct me if I'm wrong
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
