Hi,

I am a permanent resident of Canada and want to submit an application for a visitor visa for my mother. I want her to visit on vacation this summer for about a month to show her the country. My partner and I make decent income so we can support her (and she has her own savings).

She is a Chinese citizen and does not own any property. She is divorced, so doesn't have a husband to return to in China, but does have extended family there. She is employed at a hotel in housekeeping (relatively low income). She has never traveled outside of China before.

I am wondering how I can improve the application, given that she has no property ties. She has about 10k CAD in savings in a Chinese bank account. I will definitely be writing an invitation letter. Should I buy a return flight ticket before applying to improve her chances? I don't know how good her chances are, given the situation.

Thank you!

Buying a plane ticket is not going to improve her chances.

Is she living with your grandparents?

I think you should apply supervisa for her. If you and your Patner making good . I did for my mother and mother in law . They both are here now. Back home in india they never worked or any property on there name . Same time she can stay here for 2 year.
