Visitor visa for mother on compassionate ground

Hi... we have applied for our mother visitor visa on December 12, 2022.
We dint get any update not even the biometric request...she didn't travel abroad earlier.
Is anyone here with the similar case and situation....please reply....

Where she is from determines processing. What is travel on compassionate grounds?
