Hello Everyone,

We are trying to apply visitor visa for my Mother-in-law and brother-in-law to visit us during summer.
Could you please help me with below questions.

1. My brother-in-law will be primary applicant and add my mother-in-law's name as accompanying member. Should we show financial proof for both of them or that of brother-in-law will be fine?
2. In Family information section C, we need to add all brothers and sisters information. My mother-in-law has total 7 siblings. Should we include all of them? They might not even know their date of birth? Will it cause any issue if we add a dummy date of birth?
3. What should be the ideal value for question "Funds available for my stay". We are planning to call them here for 4 months.
4. We will be showing mine and my husband's payslips to show that we will take care of them during their stay.
5. My husband and I are on open work permit and our visa is getting expired in June-2020. Will my mother-in-law and brother-in-law get visitor visa for 10 years?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Hetal

Others can comment/add as well

(3) general advice here is to only ask upfront for a 2-3 week stay as a visitor and leave it to CBSA on entry to grant a longer stay.
(
(5)So if your work permit expires June 2020 are you planning to apply to extend or stay as a visitor ? No way to predict in advance how long a visa might be valid for other than passport expiry date or whether will be single or multi entry.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
We will be eligible for CES in express entry in May so we are hoping to receive ITA in May then apply for PR.
