Hi All,

I am trying to apply for visitor visas for my mother and grandmother. I need guidance on a couple of things.

1. My mother and grandmother are not working. What kind of documents can I show for Financial support? I am working, but I believe the applicant needs to show their financial stability.

2. what document do I need to provide to show my relationship with my grandmother? Both of us share the same address on passport, will that work?

3. My father has a stable job in India and he won't be able to travel. This means my mother and grandmother have to return to India. They are visiting solely to travel.

I am a Canadian PR Holder.

1. They apply seperately so need to show bank statements, investments, property, pensions etc.
2. So are you not living in Canada if you share the same address? Passport, marriage certificates
3. Ok.

I am living in Canada but I am a PR so I still have my Indian Passport. My grandmother and mother have the same address on their passport as well. I read on the IRCC website that residence at the same address can be shown as well to show that they are related to you. I was confirming if I can use that to prove our relation.

Also, looks like I forgot to ask the question for #3,

My father has a stable job in India and he won't be able to travel. This means my mother and grandmother have to return to India. They are visiting solely to travel. Should this be a good enough reason to show that they have ties to India and will go back at the end of their trip?

You can show that your father is staying in India. Is it a good enough reason, maybe.
