Dear seniors,

I need guidance from any of experts for applying visitor visa to my Father.

My current status is Canadian PR, working as full time with my wife. How much the chance to bring him here in Canada only short period. He doesn't have job in home country, no income and no travel history.

However, I and my wife would sponsor and support all expenses during he stay in Canada, we are planing to show bank statements and ours Canadian saving account.

I just wanted to make sure and need advise from seniors then I will gather documents and go ahead to fill an application form.

Must appreciate for the reply.

Given those specifics it would be hard, unless he has lots of savings to afford the trip.

It's very hard.. My father was rejected last year.
But you can try sponsoring him.

Given the information you've stated: no job, income or travel history... I would say it's a pretty much guaranteed refusal.

Think about it this way, if you were the visa officer reading your father's application, would you be satisfied that he will return to his country after his stay in Canada? If he has nothing to tie him back there, then the officer will think there is a very good chance he will stay in Canada.

Unfortunately yes, in my opinion that makes an even stronger case for him to stay in Canada. Why would he go back when all of his expenses are paid in Canada?

I don't mean to be negative, sorry :(

SUper visa is always an option. However, there must be something that binds him in his present country. Relations, property, some savings. Think there will be always something. Give it a shot by making your case as strong as possible. Be positive. All the best.

Sharma
