I would like to bring my mother from India for 20 days to attend my convocation in October 2017 and take her around locally. I have a student permit, and recently applied for PR (under family class-spouse).
I have a couple of questions:
1. Can I apply for my mother's visitor's visa online (my mom is not computer savvy and I do not want to pay a travel agent to apply on her behalf).
2. Is it necessary to do it through VSF Global or can I directly upload all the documents on IRCC website?
3. Do I need an airline ticket or can I just write the dates in my invitation letter and provide a tentative non-official itinerary?
