Hello everyone,

I am going to go Toronto for the conference and I am almost done with the online application. During my trip, all of the cost will be covered by the project that I involved. So, I have to pay first and then get reimbursement later

In the "IMM5257E", how much should I put in "Funds available for my stay (CAD)"?

I did a research and found that $4000-6000 should be Ok. But if i put like $4000, do I need to bring $4000 in cash to Canada? What happen if I bring like couple of hundreds dollar? Because I will use my credit card for everything there and I do not want too much cash with me.

Please anyone had same situation help me.

Thanks.
T

I don't think you will be asked to bring $$$$ to Canada while applying for visa. You will need to provide financial support documents like bank statement or income, etc.

Are you giving someone access to your application?

1) Yes, I will be appointing a representative to apply on my behalf
2) Yes, grant authorization for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to release your application information to another person?
3) Yes, both appoint a representative and grant authorization to release information to another person
4) No

Which one should I select?

No, I meant when I take off to Canada. At the immigration office, do they ask for how much money I carry on?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
As applicant, only you can answer the questions you asked.

For example, if you only have $4000 in bank account, then write $4000 in the box under "Funds available"

If you would make the application on your own, pick "No"!
