Visitor visa for daughter

Hi all,

I was wondering if Canada is still issuing visitor visa from India. I, my wife and my kids are permanent residence here in Canada along with my parents. And my parents are also permanent residents and living with us here in Canada.
My father is dealing with some health issues and I have got medical note from doctor stating that he has various health issue.
Applying my sister visit visa which alreadyhas refused once, so this time she has doubled her savings and biometric are done already from last time. Just wondering what are her chances to get the visa? Does she come under family reunion as extended family member? Thank you in advance!

Honestly no one can tell you her chances just based on her savings. She also needs written authorization to travel as an extended family member.

What type of ties does your sister have in India. There may be concerns that she won't return to India if most of her family is in Canada. Does she have a spouse and children in India? own property? Have a longterm well paying job?

She has spouse and a girl back home. She is just visiting due to my father health issues and haven’t seen him fir last 3+years. She runs a tuition centre and does her ITR’s.

She will need to quarantine in a quarantine hotel and a separate location given her father's health so she'll need to show that she has the extra funds. How much liquid cash did she show? How long did she ask to visit? How recently did she get denied? Has she applied for any other permits/visas?

Because of Covid, she can’t enter canada on just a visitor visa. She needs written authorization to travel and even be allowed to board the plane. This authorization is to show her visit is essential. She will also need to pre-pay a 3 day, mandatory hotel quarantine.

The fact that she only has FD is likely to be an issue. She needs to show she has liquid cash to use. That is a very long visit. It shows that her ties are not very strong if she can leave her family and job for 3 months would have asked for a shorter time. As previously mentioned you should apply for special authorization with the TRV.

Written authorization information is all in the link. Once approved with a visa and written authorization, you book your hotel through the government site. She has to do that (link). Don’t know where you live but you book at first point of entry.

I have couple other questions in mind. Does my sister need to put her quarantine plan in her application or she has to do that process after the approval? And also does she need authorization letter? If yes, does that go in the file or that also needs to be done after approval? And also she has her biometric from last time refusal, how long does it would take to process her file? Thank you
