Hi Guys,

I recently got my, my wife and son's Multiple entry visitor visa approved and stamped. We all three are having USA B1/B2 visa and visited over there 3 times. Now, I am looking for Canada visitor visa for my brother as well because we are planning together for a 15 days visit in December or January. Here is the detail of my brother and I would request to share your kind feedback/inputs so that I can proceed further with his application.

Brother age: 30 years
Marital status: Unmarried
Employment: Yes working in reputed firm
Funds: around 28 lakh [INR].
Properties: On father name [Will it work].
Qualification: MBA

On the basis of above detail, should I proceed further with My brother's visitor visa application ? Also, should I apply from my GC keys account or my brother needs to apply from his account and then attach our visa copies and mention the purpose of visit.

Please advise.

Thanks,

He needs to create his own account. Has he travelled internationally before to countries that need a visa like Australia, US, UK, other Schengen countries, etc.? 15 days is a reasonable amount of time and assume he can get a letter saying he has leave from work. Is he taking care of your parents or other ties to India? Have you relocated to Canada?

Hi Dear,

Thank you so much for your kind response. He hasn't traveled internationally. Yes, he can arrange a letter from his office and having around 28 lakh INR in banks. He has other strong ties in India like membership of many clubs plus having properties here. Again, I am saying to visit together for 10-15 days [me, my wife, son and brother], not to relocate.

Would you mind shedding some light on my query. Thanks a lot.

Thanks

Funds: around 28 lakh [INR].
Was all of this money earned by him? Taxes paid? Liquid cash or locked-in funds?

Properties: On father name [Will it work].
Will not work

Qualification: MBA
His qualifications are irrelevant as he is not visiting Canada to look for employment.

He has other strong ties in India like membership of many clubs
Are these clubs for social meetings? Or clubs like Rotary, Lions Club, etc? If it is the latter then is he a member of the Committee?

plus having properties here.
Your dad's properties cannot be submitted as evidence of your brother's ties/reasons to return to India

Hi Bryanna,

Thank you for your kind response. Yes, all the money is white and well paid taxes plus it was not deposited in one go but gradually transferred by parents over the period of almost 3 years. My brother is a member of many local clubs such as social welfare clubs and other sports promotion clubs and such memberships can be penned down on their letter heads. His office doesn't have any issue with granting leaves and other formalities. Apart from all this, my father has transferred some properties worth 50 lakh on his name and this is evaluated too.

Also, I have a question that I already have a GC keys account which I created for my, wife and son's visa, that is already granted and stamped. Now my query is that should I apply my brother's visa with my account and attach scanned copies of our passports as well as visas or he needs to apply himself with a new account on his name and their attach our visas copies.

Kindly guide me.I appreciate and grateful to you!!!

It would be easy to see the math does not add up. And, your parents have been systematically transferring funds to your brother's account to facilitate a visa approval.

Does he hold a position of responsibility in these clubs? Has he been elected to any of these Committees?

When?
