Why Canada for treatment ? Check the procedures for obtaining visit visa in the cic.gc.ca website.

There's always a chance of refusal and you have to try your luck.

If your husband and son are Canadians and your son is seriously sick. First, obtain medical certificate that he is sick or better still if he can fly to Canada and your husband gets proof that he is sick. Then your husband can invite you to come and help because he works. He will have to proof that he can cover all the costs associated with your trip. But it should be a temporary stay say you are coming for 3 weeks to help your son recover. You might not need to proof any social or financial ties if it is an emergency. We did the same for my mom. Also your age will count. The older the better. You should also declare on your application forms that you have permanent residence application in process (provide your case number). Write a letter explaining your son's circumstance and why you need to be there.
